Trigger your action with an activity
What does it do?
This module starts automation based on activities in your CRM. Choose an activity type and/or agent. This trigger will not run if the created activity does not have any person associated with it, i.e. a customer.
How does it work?
You can trigger your automation when an activity is created or done. Simply, decide when the action should begin, choose the Activity type and set an agent it will apply to.
If you don't select an agent, the automation will be applied to all of them.
Case study
Remind your sales agents to write a short note after contacting a prospect.
Firstly, you have to automate checking if the agent hasn't already added any note.
Use the Note added module to trigger adding the tag "Note added" then wait 15 minutes and remove the tag.
Now use the Activity trigger. Toggle "Done" to activate the path when an activity is done and select one of your agents. Add an 8-minute Delay and use Filters to check if there is a "Note added" tag. If there isn't, send an email to the appropriate agent asking to write the note.
