Installing User.com on Google AMP websites
How to make User.com work on your AMP page
What is AMP?
The AMP Project is an open-source initiative aiming to make the web better for all. The project enables the creation of websites and ads that are consistently fast, beautiful and high-performing across devices and distribution platforms.
The idea is to create pages that are as light as possible. However, that comes at a cost. The AMP technology does not enable complex JS code socket-based connections and other more advanced technologies.
How to install User.com on an AMP page
It's simple - you can do it the same way you'd do it on any other page. Simply paste the tracking code. It should look somewhat like this:
<script data-cfasync="false">window.civchat = { apiKey: "YOUR API KEY", };</script> <script data-cfasync="false" src="https://widget.userengage.com/widget.js"></script>
How will User.com affect my AMP page?
Your page will look and feel the same. The only difference is that chat widgets do not comply with AMP guidelines so if you will implement the tracking code, your page will lose the AMP status.
