Why use chat notifications?
Missing a user query might mean the difference between a new client and a negative review. To customize notification settings, click on your app icon in the top right corner. From the drop-down menu that appears, select Notifications. Here you will see several options:
- "On conversations assigned to me notify me by":
This means that you will or will not be notified about new messages in the conversations assigned to you personally.
- "On conversations assigned to others notify me by":
This option lets you choose if you want or don’t want to receive notifications about conversations assigned to other team members.
- "On conversations that are unassigned notify me by":
This third possibility lets you choose if you want or don't want to receive notifications about conversations that have not been assigned to any particular agent.
There are three options by which you can receive notifications: Desktop, Mobile, and Email.
